The Lamb and Flag has been at the heart of Blagdon Hill and the Blackdowns since 1705.
Dating back to Tudor times the quintessential English pub has a rich and popular history.
After 14 weeks of renovations from the business partners of a 31 year old construction company, the main showpiece is the bespoke handmade bar which is handcrafted from beer barrel staves, another focal point is the double sided fireplace.
The pub is dog friendly and welcomes children to play safely in our beautiful, sun-trap garden.
There are a few circular cycle rides and walks surrounding the area with The Lamb and Flag being a perfect pit-stop for refreshment.
The large carpark can also accommodate motorhomes which are more then welcome for an over night stay so they can fully enjoy their dining experience.
A staple in the community - always a gathering place for locals and visitors alike...
...and proud to continue the traditions of both pub and village, come rain or shine.
Providing a welcoming atmosphere for all.
At The Lamb and Flag, we are committed to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Our menus feature classic pub dishes, like burgers and salads,
alongside other English classic's,
Our 'Specials Board' has a great and varied selection of seasonal alternatives too.
We also offer a range of the best locally sourced ales and ciders,
as well as continental lagers and an inspired pocket wine list.
